Walking in Her Shoes
This project explores the objectification of women, both in photography and in wider visual culture. By flipping the narrative and placing men into roles where they are objectified, I aim to challenge the way we are used to seeing bodies and question how these visual ideas have become normalised over time. As a woman, it feels important for me to bring attention not only to how women are represented in images, but also to how this objectification affects women in everyday life around the world. Through this work, I explore how bodies are shown, viewed, and understood, creating images that both document and question these ongoing issues.
